70 years equal trust & rest

Jeremiah 25:11 And this whole land shall be a desolation and an astonishment, and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.


Seventy years is the exact amount of time Judah was in captivity to babylon. Where did God pull this number out and why? Trust and rest! There were sabbath days but also sabbath years in which God instructed them to work the land 6 yrs but the 7th yr they were to let the land rest. See, 490 yrs Judah did not honor this thus God gave the land rest for each yr they refused. Seventy yrs. Now, that would be a difficult thing to do but required trust. Either trust for 1 yr or trust 70 yrs? I can trust & rest in the Lord. Think of the amazing testimonies one aquires when they trust the Lord for that whole yr. Man cant rest 1 day moreless 1 year! I love this concept but Im not in line to execute this, or am I? I have my great moments and then those days I just wish I could reset and do over. I love experiencing my Lords ability to take care of me while I trust, but I am called to trust. Rest in the faithful arms of my Savior.
