A bride for Isaac

Genesis 24:1 Now Abraham was old, well advanced in age; and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things.


Now this statement is just a fact, the LORD blessed Abraham in all things, meaning all the things Abraham was doing, was of God. God cant bless sin.

This chapter is a really amazing story. A father sends out his servant Eliazer (comforter) to find a gentile bride for his son. God the Father sends the comforter, the Holy Spirit, to gather a gentile bride, the church, unto Jesus, the Son. What great consistancy we have thru Gods wonderful word. Lots of treasures within the pages of scriptures if only we dig deeper and ask the Spirit to guide us.
