After Gods heart?

Jeremiah 3:15“And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.

I think this is such an amazing promise by God. He will give shepherds after His heart! This is so Jesus! He loves to bless His people through people. A pastor isnt a profession, its a calling! There are way too many "pastors" never anointed to be pastors. Maybe just teachers or such. No, but a pastor must exhibit the heart of God for His sheep! Any thing less is an imposter! His church needs healed, His church needs compassion, His church needs even disciplined, but all after His heart in love. Pastors calling is to feed the sheep. Its a tall task, however, its been my prayer for a long while, to have the best fed sheep possible. To give a healthy diet of Gods amazing word, all of it, the full counsel of God. I desire to spend more time in His word for the message at hand, read the passage again and again, just by chance I missed something critical. Most importantly, making sure Im being fed by the LORD and basking in His Spirit daily. I cant give what I dont have myself. I have experienced much joy in my life by bringing this connection between the Shepherd and His sheep. This is my dream job that isnt even a job, its a calling! I can recall for days the many pastors God has raised up with His heart! The alternative would be men who care about their own interests. The church has to many of those already. You are so good LORD!
