Are children really that important?

Mat 19:14 NKJV -

14 But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

Jesus' disciples were running off the kids wanting to come to Him. Jesus rebukes His disciples and reveals to them that its faith as they that model how we are to approach. Kids had zero importance at this time. But not to Jesus. We, as a team from Calvary Chapel, have driven 12+ hours for these favored little ones in Mexico. We have put in a lot of heart and soul into this ministry but its these precious kids God has also moved mountains to bless. Many hundreds, even thousands, will come to Jesus this weekend, and Jesus wont turn away a one. Who will the LORD send and at what cost and how far to bless a single child? Just simply amazing. I know my heart, as will our teams hearts, will brake for what we experience here, what simple joy we will witness, how appreciative these kids will be for a simple items many have pulled together and donated. All this, you guessed it, because of Jesus' compassion.
