Be Thankful

1 Thessalonians 5:18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.


I think this is absolutely impossible without the first two commands of being full of joy & praying always. Everything in life isnt good. Reading the text clearly, in all things be thankful. Not for everything. We can be thankful unto our loving Father in the midst of trials and sufferings knowing He is all powerful and has our best interests at heart. Its Gods will to walk in a life of gratitude. When we dont, it speaks volumes of where we stand and how little we trust in our Lord. I am a tool in His hands and however He desires to use me, Im good. I know that my life is more enriched with Him. He has delivered me from so much. Thank You Lord for all You have done, do, and will do on my behalf.
