Can I really be joyful?

Matthew 28:9 And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.


First words of Jesus to these broken hearted ladies, Rejoice! They experienced much joy when Jesus was with them. I mean, Mary Magdalene, freed from 7 demons. SHE KNEW JOY! But now, Jesus was taken and crusified, died, in a tomb. Fear set in and stole away their joy. I see, and have experienced this, Jesus shows up and extends this joy He has once again. Rejoice! This is always the case when it comes to fellowship in Christ, joy. He wants me to be full of joy. He wants you to be full of His joy. Lord, please pour out Your joy on us who desire it. I love to renew the joy of my salvation.
