Can Jesus be unknown?

Genesis 42:8 So Joseph recognized his brothers, but they did not recognize him.

I find this very interestingly similar to Jesus. He came to His own, and His own didnt know Him. How does this happen? Age? Nope! Disguised to look like an Egyptian? Maybe! I suggest, they were not familiar enough about Joseph. Never took the time to figure him out. His deeams caused a rift between them. They wrote him off. I may be looking into this to much, but I love watching undercover boss, a tv reality series show. No matter how well disguised, and there are good disguises, those closest to the ceo, always suspect or find out. Those who know or study their boss, will know. Jesus came, yes in human flesh, that was new, but in the letter and volume of the book. If you truly love the word, you will know Him and love Him and always know when the Saviour is before you. I love the account of after Jesus' resurrection, He is walking with His disciples on the road to Emmaus. At first, they dont know it was Him, but as they talk, their hearts burned within them as He expounded on the scripture. Our part in this relationship, is to seek Him, ask questions, truly listen to Him. He reveals Himself through the means He always has, love, compassion, grace, & mercy. Truth is, as christians, we to cant disguise ourselves well. Our talk and actions will give us away.
