Communism vs Capitalism

Acts 2:43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. 44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.

Respect for God was upon everyone at this point. Many sign & wonders followed the believers, as promised by Jesus. I love ministry under Christ. He is still doing signs & wonders through belief. They formed a type of communism way of life, well one of belief in Christ. Some of the hippies during the Jesus revolution lived in these Christian commun houses. They served their purpose yet are never sustainable. There is a reason they didnt last. The idea sounds good, share everything, but men are flawed in that this idea will lessen man's drive to excel, work hard while others loaf! Sinful fallen man is best fit under a capitalist system, not that it's any better, it also has its issues! However, in essence, it states, the harder you work, the better off you will be. It gives you the opportunity to excel, but doesn't insure it! In a perfect world, the communist idea would work. History would soon prove, for these amazing believers, this church in Jerusalem had major financial issues in which Paul took up collections from churches to help them out. It's fair to say, if communist ideals could work, it's best shot was here! Nope! Epic failure! Well intentions, misdirected ideals! If you don't work, you won't eat! I'm not endorsing communism, what it has lead to under that devastating form under the soviet union or china, just learning lessons from history as regard to sinful man's abilities to sustain such a open door society! Free nation's are capitalistic. Though greed is a major part, opportunity through hard work thrives in free men! We are free to be greedy or compassionate givers.
