Could this really be Him?

Matthew 12:22 Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw.

23 And all the multitudes were amazed and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”

So, a man who was blind, mute, and demon possessed was brought to Jesus. Jesus heals him and free's him. The crowds looking unto Jesus are amazed, as would I be. What Jesus did here, is text book of what the promised messiah would do. The term "Son of David" is the messiah that would come thru Davids descendants. And what I so love here is, Jesus sparks inspiration to this crowd back to the word of God. All our LORD does will be in His word, or the character or nature of the act will be grounded in His word. This proves to me, we must take in His word now so that when things as this happen, we know the LORD is among us and with us. A large part of humanity lack this awareness due to not being familiar with Gods holy word. LORD, give me passion for Your word everyday. Give me the ability to apply Your word to my life.
