Count the cost to follow Christ.

Matthew 8:19 Then a certain scribe came and said to Him, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”

20 And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

We need to make an informed but passionate decision to follow Christ. This is the greatest decision one will ever make but count the cost. It will not be easy this side of eternity. A scribe said "I will follow you" and Jesus says hold up. Think about what you just said and what that means as you examine My life. I don't have it easy. I don't even have a shelter to sleep at night. Not ideal circumstances for comfort. Reminds me of how they recruited the pony express riders.
