Dont be vain

Galatians 4:11 I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain.


Paul had true deep concern for the LORDS people. You can lead a horse to water but cant make it drink, or can you? As a dad, I often invest in my kids for their benefit. I hope the advice and help will profit them. I hope and pray my deep concern for them isnt wasted on their end. You will do almost anything, within ethical and moral bounds, to make their lives better then ours, or at least as fulfilling. This should be our concern for our family in Christ. Jesus came from His throne, and gave all of Himself for us. Some waste His sacrifice but that doesnt negate His power nor the power in all those who believe in Him. I guess I just dont want to be on the side of a vain wasted life this side of eternity. I want to live to the fullest.
