Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering


The elect of God. God chose you! But what if Im not chosen? How do I know? I guess the only way to find out is choose to be chosen. Receive His acknowledgement. What if I refuse that? Well, maybe you arent chosen? God knows who will and who will not receive Jesus. I do know God doesnt want anyone to go to hell, it was created for satan and the fallen angels. For any relationship to be meaningful, a choice by both parties must be exercised. May I be perfectly clear on my stance on election? I hold to Gods word, John 15, Jesus spoke of abiding in Him and He in you. One cant even come to God without Gods Spirit 1st drawing him. But that then we must believe and trust in Jesus for Gods salvation. We must receive Jesus. The perfect sovereignty of God to call us yet the amazing free will to receive Gods call upon us. Im clear! I believe the bible teaches us both doctrines.
