Faith that is seen

Mark 2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”

Faith must be seen! This idea that one can compartmentalize our faith in private verses public is a lie. In fact, our constitution says the free exercise of religion. Not just at church, but everywhere we go in the world, we exercise this faith freely without government interference period. Is there repercussions for living out your faith, possibly! But we are to and must do so. These 4 friends displayed their faith in God by all the actions performed to get this man to Jesus! James said show me your faith without your works but I will show you my faith by my works. Faith and works go together. Mens greatest need is what we see, rationalize, but Jesus knows best. He forgave his sin. This man needed freed from his bondage of sin and the cancer of condemnation. Didnt matter if he had perfect health yet miss heaven. I do my best to seek Gods will but Im human and I always invite the Lord to perform His will, the root of the issue at hand. We pray for a certain job, or a particular relationship we would love to have, or a certain house to get but often dont factor in what God already knows is best. Ive learned to just be good with the Lords will be done.
