Following Christ wont bring you fans.

Matt 5:11“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake."

Dont you hate it when your reputation is questioned or when someone lies about you? Well, anybody that has followed Jesus for over a minute, has this onslaught of lies attached to them. Now, we deserve a lot for our sin against humanity but this is different. This is guilt by association. Because the world hates Jesus, it will focus its hatred upon you who imitate Him. So, are you still sold on walking after Christ? But Jesus said you are blessed because of your stand for Him. You will overcome anything the world throws at you, however stay close to Jesus.
