From deceiver to Governed by God!

Genesis 32:24 Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day.

25 Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him.

26 And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.” But he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!”

27 So He said to him, “What is your name?” He said, “Jacob.”

And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.”

Jacob gets alone, just him and the LORD. He does what he has always done previously, but this time he is physically wrestling with the LORD. Cant ask for a better outcome. He goes in directing his own life to coming out with a handycap. God changed his name to Israel, governed by God. I think more people should should turn their fight against God unto a wrestling match. God isnt scared. He loves to grapple with you and reason life with us. But then, we must come to what Jacob came to, leaning on Him. We need Him every second of everyday.
