Giver not a taker

2 Thessalonians 3:8 nor did we eat anyone’s bread free of charge, but worked with labor and toil night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, 9 not because we do not have authority, but to make ourselves an example of how you should follow us.

This is what the Holy Spirit does in the christian. A christian, whos provision is from the Lord. That christian doesnt allow themself to be a strain, burden on anyone! We all need help, but make sure your asking the right person, the Lord. He will definately put upon the hearts of His willing vessels, whatever is needed, if needed. Ive witnessed the abuse of "holy men" exploiting others. They are a huge burden. Their lusts become top priorities that others must support. "God told me I need this 50 million dollar jet." So the church goes in debt when God never said such thing. Paul led by example, glorifing God in his walk and not being a burden to any. Again, we are to share in other peoples burdens but make sure its the Lord directing you and not out of guilt or pressure. That is a difficult lesson to learn. Sometimes no is the best answer to give to another. You cant always say yes! God doesnt always say yes to us, praise the Lord for that.
