God as a Father?

Matthew 6:9 In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.

Jesus, in this passage, isnt giving us what every prayer should be but the model or outline of our prayers. Lets look at the first. Personal relationship calling God, Father. He is not distant though He reigns in heaven. He is of a kingdom to be respected. He isnt our homeboy. Holy is His name. His name is set apart from all others. He stands alone as God. Unlike the pagan deities of mythology, He is alive and living. His name was so revered that scribes would bath before writing His name, they felt they were to unclean to even write it. They also must wipe the pen. His is a Holy name unlike any other. He never required this kind of treatment for His name but it shows you the heavy respect those who copied the word had for the LORD. Our Father is in heaven and unlike all others, He lives!
