God, do You have this or do I?

Galatians 3:3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?


There are many examples of foolish living or decisions made. Paul gives one here. You begun this glorious living relationship by the powerful Spirit of God. He empowered you to change. He gave you true desire to change. He gave you resources to live for Him. But now, you go back to was has proven never to work out well for you? If man could live righteous outside of the Spirit, where are the examples? "Perfect" here means matured. The flesh cant mature us. The only way we grow is to depend on the Holy Spirit and trust in the LORD. Its a deception to think you can take the controls of your life from here. Thats why so many well intended christians fall.
