God will provide Himself...

Genesis 22:7 But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” Then he said, “Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”

8 And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together.

The son Isaac saw the fire & the wood, and asks dad about the most important thing, the sacrifice. This is both the literal answer and a prophetic answer. Notice, he did not say, "you are son". My Son, God will provide Himself a sacrifice. The word "for" is not in the original text. He will be a true complete burnt offering, totally given over to the Fathers will. Interstingly, the first mention of love in the bible is in chapter 22, a father & his son. This chapter is so rich of prophecy. The Father has opened heaven for us.
