Gods control

Luke 2:4 Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David.

This is a huge deal. The world must register in their hometowns for taxation purposes. How inconvenient. So! Is the Lord still in control in an oppressive world? Yes. I suggest this was the means to bring Gods word to pass about the Christ being born in Bethlehem. Its not about us. Its not that God has no regard for our hardships but because Gods word is faithful and true, we also know He will move governments to keep us as well. We only need to look at the Jewish people. There have been many attempts to annihilate them, none have nor will be successful. Gods word speaks of them being used once again thus they must still exist or Gods word is null and void. Thats not going to happen.
