Gods opening act.

Matthew 11:10 “For this is he of whom it is written:

Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, Who will prepare Your way before You.’

When amazing bands go on tour, its important to have great opening acts. John is Jesus' opening act, if you will. What great honor. To be chosen the forerunner to Jesus. It was written, God called & sent John. Called, not to blaze a trail, but prepare the way for Jesus. God gave John freedom to serve in this manner, in the confines of His Holy word. I mean, what would you say? What would you do? However, in a way, we all as followers of Christ still prepare the way for Jesus as we go out and share the gospel to a people whom have never heard. I find there is great joy & satisfaction introducing Jesus to people.
