Have you heard, or are you distracted by work?

Galatians 3:2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?


Paul really wants an answer to his question. When you received salvation, was it because you were working and God saw your amazing deeds, and thus He dwelt within you? Or was it simply the opposite? You were living after the world, doing satans works. But you heard the gospel message! The Spirit drew you to Jesus and you received Him as your LORD & Savior. He first drew us. He came looking for us when we wasnt looking for Him, this Im sure of. Oh, when I first heard His voice, I didn't have my life right. But since then, He has righted my ship in so many ways. All from that first time I heard His grace filled voice. Oh, I work. I work hard, not for salvation, but because of my salvation. The time is coming soon, when we can no longer work. Jesus is coming soon. If you never have heard God speak or its been a while. If it was just today, then ask, seek, & knock for Him to give you a living fresh word.
