He is risen

Matthew 28:5 But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.

6 “He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

These courageous women came to serve their LORD. They experienced the love of Jesus and all they wanted to do was repay the love. Their theology was off but their desire to serve was marvelous. I can relate, sometimes I totally miss the mark about being focused on what my LORD has assured me yet Im not going to stop serving Him. Just like the angel reminds these ladies, Jesus always does what He says. He allows, what seems to feel like, death and burial, in our lives! Yet, as He said, He will rise again! Jesus is alive and thus we will rise from the ashes. We cant be overcome by the weapons of the enemy, though they are many. The lies these devils feed us, to distract and discourage us, are like shadows. Jesus overcame death. Of course, there never was a question about that, but His death, burial, & resurrection was for us and to put the works of satan in their proper place, nullified! As He said, He is risen so come and see for yourself! He convinced me some 27 years ago and has never disappointed. What great joy I have in my heart, guiding my life.
