He lifts up my broken soul!

David is at a very low time in his life at the time Psalm 38 was written. Here is a small snippet 8 "I am feeble and severely broken; I groan because of the turmoil of my heart."

He is so weak, broken to the point of seamingly unrepair, but I suggest he is right where God wants him. When we are weak, He can be strong in us. We are broken beyond repair, yet He restores better than before. I love how the Lord wont allow us to stay in this depressing state long, in a few verses later, 15 "For in You, O LORD, I hope; You will hear, O Lord my God."

Our hope is in Jesus, whom hears our cry and delivers us in our many distresses. Thanks be to God!
