Heard Gods voice

2 Peter 1:17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

18 And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.


People tend to give credence based off some famous or prestigious individuals endorsement. Though that may have some benefit, I believe the number 1 endorsement of all is the Fathers. Once Peter & company heard the Father speak from heaven, audibly by the way, of Jesus, that made an impact upon their lives. Jesus is the Beloved, One and only Son, listen to Him. The Father is well pleased in all He does & represents. Jesus is in a class of His own. There is nobody past, present, or future who holds this accomplishment with the Father. Im amazed by how much disrespect and dishonor we see in the religious community toward Jesus yet on the other hand, claim to serve God. Its through & by Jesus we see & know the Father. They are unified. Jesus always points men to the Father, the Spirit leads men to Jesus, and the Father gives of His Spirit to men. What a wonderful unified relationship.
