Helmet of salvation

Psalm 140:7 O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, You have covered my head in the day of battle.

Our heads are considered critic areas to protect. Millions are spent trying to design helmets to protect our heads. Maybe they should study the woodpecker! David was no stranger to battles. A wounded arm or leg, you may recover, but a head injury, well, has life and death implications. But our minds are the true battlefield. We must wear the helmet of salvation daily. Satan attacks our minds with lies, but I need to protect my melon with Gods word & truth or else this mind will become mush. Feeling & emotion have nothing on facts.
