His Light leads to love

1 John 2:9 He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now.

It would be inconsistant of me to say I live in Christ and on the other hand hate my fellow man. Im deceived & still walking in darkness. The Holy Spirit does not lead us to "hate" my brother, or even an enemy, as far as that goes. Until I choose to love instead of hate, Im not walking in light. How do I love my brother? Commit to prayer continually! At 1st, the prayers are about him or her getting justice but over time, you truly begin to pray for Gods blessing upon them, then they are no longer hated in your heart because now you are lined up with Gods heart for them. There, now you are in His light.
