How to conquer the lust of the flesh? Every word from God.

Matthew 4:3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If (since) You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” 4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."

Jesus was seriously hungry. Satan basically tempts Jesus to break His communion with the Father by instantly satisfying His flesh with bread, breaking His fast. Every lust of the flesh we face has this same root . We press into God and the enemy wants us to break that fellowship and satisfy our carnal desires. We need every powerful word God has for us in order to deny our flesh. Either the bible will keep you from sin or sin will keep you from the bible.
