How to stop a unified disaster.

Genesis 11:1 Now the whole earth had one language and one speech.


This is a huge accomplishment, yet not in a good way. We are now approaching the ability to communicate with all people groups once again. When a unified body is opposed to the LORD, we see what results. God knows how to simply quiet down the heated plans.


11:7“Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.”


They had been given clear guidance, to go multiply and fill the earth. Here, they gathered in one spot and seek to be gods or like God. First religious acts, though cultic in nature, to become gods. How weak and pathetic men are when void of submission to the LORD.
