I became weak!

Today in Gods word, we read how Paul, for the weaks sake, became weak, so they could be made strong. 1 Cor 9:22. I believe that action truly shows Gods heart toward fallen man and sums up why He came down from heaven. There is no greater love than that a man lays down his life for another. Truth is, we are all weak, fail often, cant go the distance frequently, yet Jesus took upon Himself the fraility of humanity and walked the path we never could on our own. Then, in ultimate humility and weakness, He allowed Himself to beaten, spit upon, mocked, and then crusified. He took upon Himself our punishment and weakness and gave to us strength and glory. I have found no greater example of one taking upon himself everything that is weak in us, but that is what Jesus has done for fallen humanity. He will never belittle us nor step on us to be stronger. The way up for Jesus was down. Humility! A word we try to avoid at ALL costs, He gladly took for us.
