I'm redeemed

Psalm 107:2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,

There is an old song with this verse in it. I loved singing it, but always wondered what it meant. I have come to some understanding now, in that we as the redeemed need to wear the status with joy, pride, excitement! The spiritual byproduct of this is we declare to those whom are not saved, that the door is opened up for them to be saved. If Im redeemed, I should say so and declare so, by my life. I was once in the enemies chains, but now Im freed! I now declare what Gods word says about me, Ive been redeemed by the precious blood of the Lamb.
