Jesus can change anybody.

Matthew 12:41 The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here.

What a powerful reality. Jesus said those, in that once wicked city of Ninevah, at the time of Jonah, acted on the preached word of God by Jonah. There will be many in heaven and their example will not help out the case for those who refuse to recieve Christ now. What joy must have been evident in Ninevah at that time. They were radical in their recieving of Gods word. Good things always result when we lean on His word and respond by recieving it. Jonah was highly resistant to sharing at Ninevah, he wanted them judged by God. But he went and the greatest revival took place. If that can happen with Jonah, we have a greater than Jonah, Jesus the Christ, the Promised One, foretold thru the old testament scriptures. He hasnt come to condemn this world, but that the world thru Him may have eternal life. God is just so very amazingly gracious.
