Jesus has all authority!

Matthew:8 The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.

9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

10 When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!

I love this mans faith in Jesus' authority. He is a gentile roman centurion. He gets authority and knows Jesus has at least higher authority then he. How much more, us who know Jesus, be reminded of the awesomeness and authority of our loving Savior, Jesus Christ. He is a friend that is closer than a brother yet He is God very God. I dont want to get too complacent or familiar with Him I lose sight of this. What an amazing privilege to be so close to the Ruler of the universe. Jesus was moved by this mans faith in that even among all Israel, none exhibited faith in the authority as he. Wow.
