Jesus is coming quickly

Revelation 22:7“Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

12“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.

20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!


 

Its clear Jesus states He is coming back quickly. However our idea of quick is different then His. In the large scale view, Im sure it will be fast but Im not looking at the whole picture. I only see my short existance and cry out & whine to God, how much longer. Im like the child in the back seat of a long road trip, are we there yet? Ive learned a few things while being a Christian, one fact is, you cant rush God! He isnt bound by time, nor is He rushed to act since nothing catches Him off guard. He is putting all the pieces of the puzzle in motion and one day, He will be here. Soon! Be ready! Be watching! Be actively waiting on Him.
