Jesus never promised storms wont come.

Matthew 8:23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him.

24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.

25 Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”

26 But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

27 So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

This is awesome. Jesus gets into a boat, and His disciples follow. Not knowing what will soon insue. They, as well as us, should be aware that storms of this life will come. However, the right coarse of action is follow Jesus wherever He goes. He often seems to be in this calming sleep thru our storms. This should never be taken as a lack of regard for His people. We must answer this, will the storm destroy Jesus? Jesus is right there with us in every storm. He will make it thru and we will make it thru with Him. Keep your hearts and eyes on Jesus. Hold the line. Keep the faith. Oh, and Jesus has power over ALL storms.
