Matthew 8:16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,

17that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”


Keep in mind of this, Gods word was given a thousand years before this point. Jesus initiates the fulfilling of His word here. We dont wait on Him. His deep love and care for us makes provision and opportunity for us to be whole in a fallen sinfilled world. Man blames God often for the misery we are in however thats not justified. Man has disobeyed Him thus inviting sin to rule over them. God made all things good. He however has a fix and restoration planned for our mess. He initiates all good for us.
