Matthew 9:18 While He spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.”

19 So Jesus arose and followed him, and so did His disciples.


Death effects all: whether rich or poor, famous or not, ect. This father came to Jesus in brokeness and complete desperation and just worshipped Jesus. He understood that the only place he could turn to was Jesus. Jesus was moved with compassion and went. Worship is very important to this story. Take time to worship the only One worthy.
