Let Christ build the church

Psalm 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house,

They labor in vain who build it;

This has a much deeper meaning than I can extract. Men attempt to build the LORDS house. They spend resources that are not theirs to spend on elaborate things, buy golden chairs for the stage, even include schemes on how to fill up the church. Ive learned a lesson about His church, His house. Leave my finger print off! The church doesnt need anymore flesh exalted, it needs Jesus. We are ambassadors of Christ. I have discovered that He will build His church (Matt 16) and He must be allowed to keep it steady, shrink it, or even multiply it if He desires. Im just to be found faithful and love His sheep, if need be, correct His sheep, and declare the gospel. Its a vain effort to build a church if the LORD isnt the builder. I suppose, if truth be told, many religious gatherings would cease to exist.
