Let joy rule

James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials.


Fall means to be encompassed about. When we have various trials surround us, to seemingly destroy us, to oppress us, to take us out. We are to look up to Jesus who leads us into victory and fulness of joy. Count means to lead or rule by. Since Jesus is the only source giver of joy, let Him rule over the various trials in your life. I love how my sister in Christ described the attacks that can up in her life, she said "They are a badge of honor", which is totally correct. They mean you are ticking off satans kingdom and you must be neutralized. The trials dont scare me when Im in Christ' hands, but if my life is void of trials, its an indicator Im not shaking up the devils kingdom thus Im ineffective. The life void of trials is coming, when Jesus rules & reigns. For now, I must embrace them and rule over them in Jesus' joy.
