Living to please God

1 Thessalonians 4:1 Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God.

The Lord wants us to abound more and more. Yet the way this happens is by receiving the word of God which calls us to walk in a manner of pleasing God. I want to live a life pleasing God. He has given me everything, and its the least I can do for Him. Im not interested in living for myself, or to please others. Yet, if I live to please God, I will in turn live a pleasing life.
