Look unto God

Genesis 41:15 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that you can understand a dream, to interpret it.”

16 So Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, “It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”


After two yrs Joseph is prison after interpreting the dreams for the butler & the baker, pharaoh has this dream. Finally the butler speaks up. This hebrew guy can interpret dreams. Joseph is not one to take the credit however. He knows where this gift came from. Its not of me, God will give you an answer. How bold! How risky! But really, what does Joseph have to lose? His life? He is in prison. Either God does this or He doesnt. This is how Elijah often would live. This kind of bold faith will see amazing results. It is never wrong to give glory to the Father. All glory be unto Him. As Joseph states, I cant, but God can. We are to reflect the light of Christ like the moon does for the sun.
