Matthew 5:31“Furthermore it has been said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’

32“But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality, causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery."

In a society that everything is expendable, marriage isnt to be. It is an institution God made and is a picture of Christ and His church. God isnt quick to divorse us. In fact, He has every right to but lays it down to work it out. When seeking guidance for marriage, we only need to go to the source of it. Jesus will not leave you nor forsake you. There are always those exceptions, but they should be rare and not the norm. Divorse will tear us apart. Reconciliation is a beautiful thing to experience.
