Meditation

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Many look for a simple to do list. Make things simple. What to do vs not to do? Here it is. Meditate on these things. What if its not on this list? Dont! Our christian experience would look vastly different IF we used this as a litmus test. Also do these things, not just think upon them. Meditate means to chew upon, go over and over, literally, regurgitate the word. The more one breaks down the word of God, the more fruitful this sweet fellowship in the Lord is. We tend to get cranky, grumpy, sometimes even stray into sin. Why? First question, what are we ingesting? Cut off that news source, that late night show, whatever source that doesnt meet this criteria.
