My son lives!

Genesis 45:28 Then Israel said, “It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.”

What a huge boost of joy! Everything, every tear, every disappointment all fades now. Israel (Jacob) learns his once what he thought was dead son (Joseph) is still alive and that God has exalted him to preserve all his family. Trulh, in this life, sorrow lasts for a night but joy comes in the morning. Im amazed how bleak my situation looks at times, but then God does some amazing work. This scenario just typically never happens. To have a person counted as dead but then find out they are alive, and doing great! Im not old, but the older I get, the more important things as this mean. Israel now feels he can die in peace knowing his son lives. I fully relate spiritually to my son. To know reality is at this moment, he is spiritually dead. But God, is so merciful, I cant wait for the day I hear & see he lives! Until then, theres always that piece of me that hurts, broken, dead. He will, I believe, be a heavy huller for Christ, I hope sooner rather than later!
