Never count out the righteous.

Psalm 34:18 The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

The Lord is so evident in those times my heart has nothing left to give. When its broken, thru my faults, or even that which is outside my control. He brings salvation unto the humble heart. Many are the affliction of the righteous. Why? We are not of this world. The world doesnt love us. This failing world seeks to distract and discourage us every chance it gets. No worries, the Lord delivers us from them all! Affliction can be argued as self inflicted which is that much more interesting. One can never count out the great grace and mercy our Lord has upon the righteous, especially when they get off track a bit. The Lord knows how to focus us back unto Him. He actually cares enough to take the time to do so.
