New covenant

Jeremiah 50:5 They shall ask the way to Zion,

With their faces toward it, saying, Come and let us join ourselves to the Lord

In a perpetual covenant

That will not be forgotten.

This is equal to coming back to the Lord. They, being in Babylon, will turn their hearts to Zion. Oh, how faithful God is when we turn back to Him, even after broken in sin. To join in this new covenant, not based off our faithfulness, but His. The better way is Jesus, His sacrifice, His fulfillment to His promises. I remember that monment when the Holy Spirit placed His desires in my heart. He drew me to Jesus. I simply recieved Him.
