No torment in His love

John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.


Fear involves torment! Those are not the same but are mutual acquaintances. Kolasis is the greek word meaning punishment. Because of Jesus, I dont have to face punishment! He took it for me. I dont wonder about where I will spend eternity. His love casts out fear. He has not appointed His bride to wrath and torment. I'm satisfied in His love.
