Matthew 1:19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man,and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly.


Joseph is walking in love here toward Mary. He is confused by the events presented to him, yet still gives her the benefit of the doubt, isnt suspicious of her, isnt provoked against her. Checking off the list describing love, in 1 corinthians 13, he isnt perfect, but does well. Operating in love will never fail us. Even if we are wrong about someone, what have we lost by loving them. Love doesnt mean negating any wrong done, it just nullifies hates cancer in us. Jesus is our example.
