Oh, Jesus spoke literally of His resurrection!

John 20:8"Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed.

9For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead."

I love this. John is the other disciple here. He still records, he beat peter to the tomb. Lol. He saw the empty tomb, and believed. He totally overlooked what Jesus said He was going to do on many occassions. We often are told things, but those things are beyond our understanding and we equate that to never being told. Oh, Jesus literally meant He would resurrect. Got it now!
