Our trials are for a purpose

Updated: Aug 24, 2021

Genesis 40:1 It came to pass after these things that the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt offended their lord, the king of Egypt.

2 And Pharaoh was angry with his two officers, the chief butler and the chief baker.

3 So he put them in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, in the prison, the place where Joseph was confined.

What are the chances that both the chief butler & baker for pharoah are thrown in prison with Joseph? The world goes through turmoil, however the LORD navigates His will through this mess. This close interaction will prove vital in Josephs release. What Joseph went through, God created purpose and worked it for the greater good of humanity. I moan and groan over trials I go through at times without factoring in this, Joseph lesson. Maybe He is seeking to do something great in me, which is my prayer. So I just need an attitude adjustment, perspective change.
